Reiki Level 1 Training

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It also promotes healing. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words, Rei and Ki. Rei, as it is used in Reiki, means the wisdom that comes from God or the Higher Power. The word, Ki, is life energy or universal life force. Together, Reiki can be defined as spiritually guided life energy.

Reiki has been used to aid healing of almost every known illness and injury. There are reports of benefit for multiple sclerosis, heart disease, skin problems, cancer, cuts, bruises, broken bones, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, and many others. Psychological benefits reported include improved memory and greater self-confidence, and reduced stress.

In Reiki I, the emphasis is on experience and practice. Participants will give and receive Reiki sessions during the class. Ample time for discussion and questions will be reserved.

Tuition includes class materials (Reiki The Healing Touch: First and Second Degree Manual by William Rand and numerous handouts) and certificate of completion. Please call for our current fee schedule.
